Following on the heels of the FreshTech Innovation Summit, the Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation (SCEDC) in coordination with the City of Sheboygan has formed a task force comprised of key stakeholders to implement the concepts arising from the summit. Executive Director of the SCEDC Joe Sheehan says that they have “…heard from over 150 employees of Sheboygan County on what they feel is important to attract and retain professionals as well as encourage county-wide innovation and entrepreneurship.” The goal of the task force is to provide the community with a 3-year road map to develop the programming and coordination necessary to catalyze, support and invigorate the local talent and innovation ecosystem.
