Everyone has been taking extra care of themselves and bundling up during this arctic blast of cold, but what are you doing to protect your pet? While your dog or cat may have a coat of fur to help keep them warm, they are not built for temperatures as low as we have had over the past 48 hours. Limit the amount of time your pet is outside, or, if possible, keep them inside until the temperatures rise. That “heat wave” should come along at around noon today, when the Wind Chill Warning is expected to be lifted. Highs will be back above zero tomorrow.
