
Bank First, headquartered here in Manitowoc, is celebrating a milestone in 2019. It’s the financial institution’s 125th anniversary, and, Mike Molepske, CEO of Bank First, tells Seehafer News “it’s remarkable to be part of something formed in 1894.” Molepske has the utmost respect for his predecessors, including Dick Wirth & Tom Bare.
Molepske explains they have 18 formal office locations plus a full-service branch at Acuity Insurance in Sheboygan.
The Bank First National Corporation leader also says the recently announced merger proposal with Partnership Bank adds 3-new counties, once approved.
Molepske explains Bank First is the largest bank in both Manitowoc & Sheboygan Counties and is the fastest-growing of its’ kind in Brown & Outagamie. He points out their best performing office for deposits is the Lakeshore branch on Memorial Drive in Two Rivers. He says “they’re in all the communities they serve, all their employees are active in their community & each office controls their donation budgets.
