
Manitowoc Lincoln High School graduate and UW-Parkside senior Adam Bonk had a ‘huge’ second half on Saturday…to lead the ‘Rangers’ to a 96-79 conference win over Purdue Northwest. Trailing 41-37 at the half, Bonk scored 23 points, including 20 over the final 20-minutes and made 7, 3-pointers..in their Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory. Adam said quote, “The first half started out rough, but I’m always going to keep shooting. My teammates did a good job finding me.” Bonk is listed ‘third in the nation for active players for 3-point-percentage shooting’ and is currently averaging 11-points a game in 28-minutes of playing time. Parkside now 7-&-4 in the GLIAC, 9-and-8 overall, is tied for first with defending Division-2 national champion Ferris State.
