A high speed chase in Sheboygan County has resulted in two people being placed in handcuffs. A Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Deputy reportedly pulled a vehicle over for speeding on I-43 near the exit to State Highway 23 at around 12:30 AM. When the deputy got out of his vehicle, the suspect car took off, reaching speeds of over 100 MPH. The vehicle was eventually brought to a halt near Cedar Grove, when deputies used the Pursuit Intervention Technique, commonly referred to as the PIT Maneuver. No one was injured in the pursuit, but the driver is now facing charges of eluding, speeding, and possessing drug paraphernalia, while the passenger was charged for carrying a concealed knife.
