While college textbooks can be rather expensive, two men have now learned that it’s more expensive to steal them, and get caught. Ryan Lewis and Genesis Abellar, both of Huston Texas, will both be spending at least 6 months in federal prison after they were convicted for stealing books from several UW schools, including UW Green Bay. The pair was indicted on charges of conspiracy to transport stolen goods and interstate transportation of stolen property. The UW Green Bay Police joined forces with the Wisconsin Department of Justice and the FBI in the investigation of the case.
