
After serving as Wisconsin’s lieutenant governor for the past eight years, Rebecca Kleefisch has taken a new position. She will serve as executive director of the Women’s Suffrage Centennial Commission. Kleefisch was sworn-in Tuesday. She had already been a member of the 14-person commission which was created to lead commemorative and educational efforts for the 100th anniversary of women’s right to vote — coming up August 26th of next year.
