Milwaukee Police Officer Listed In Stable Condition After He Was Hit

Doctors at Froedtert Hospital and the Medical College of Wisconsin list a Milwaukee police officer in stable condition after he was injured by a hit-and-run driver Monday.  The 26-year-old officer was conducting a traffic stop when he was hit.  Witnesses say the car that hit him traveled for several more blocks before the people inside it got out and ran away.  Police haven’t released a description of the vehicle or suspects which were involved in the incident.  The officer’s name hasn’t been released.
