December Housing numbers for Manitowoc County

Home sales were down but the median price is ‘up’ in the Manitowoc County housing market according to the latest monthly figures.  A news release today from the Wisconsin Realtors Association shows the median price for home sales in December rose 8.5% locally to $108,500, compared to the same month one year ago.  Meanwhile, the number of homes sold in the county dropped 20%…to 64 over that same time.  Home sales in the county declined by 6% for the year to 1,108….and the median price went up nearly 3% to $1-hundred-10-thousand.
