47 clergymen within the Catholic Diocese of Green Bay have been found to have had at least on substantiated allegation of sexual abuse of a minor, according to a third party investigation. Reverend John Girotti, the Vicar for Canonical Services stressed the fact that none of the accused are serving in active ministry. The names come from a variety of parishes, and many have multiple allegations filed against them, dating back to as early as 1906. Some of the individuals on the list were found guilty in a court of law, but their inclusion on the list just indicates that there was a complaint filed against them. It was determined that there were 98 victims affected by the 47 priests on the list
