47 Priests in Green Bay Diocese Reveled In Sex Abuse Investigation

47 clergymen within the Catholic Diocese of Green Bay have been found to have had at least on substantiated allegation of sexual abuse of a minor, according to a third party investigation. Reverend John Girotti, the Vicar for Canonical Services stressed the fact that none of the accused are serving in active ministry. The names come from a variety of parishes, and many have multiple allegations filed against them, dating back to as early as 1906. Some of the individuals on the list were found guilty in a court of law, but their inclusion on the list just indicates that there was a complaint filed against them.
