Bail is set at $2500 cash for a 28-year-old Manitowoc woman facing multiple charges in connection with a stabbing incident in the city earlier this week. Jasmine D. Walker is charged with Second-degree recklessly endangering safety—Substantial Battery/Domestic Violence—Use of a Dangerous Weapon and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
Police were informed of the incident late Tuesday afternoon when Holy Family Memorial Medical Center reported that a 41-year-old male, was admitted to the Emergency Room with a non-life- threatening stab wound to the torso area. A witness told police that this was the result of a domestic dispute between the two parties. Walker reportedly helped bring Jackson to the hospital before leaving on foot prior to officer’s arrival. She turned herself in yesterday and was taken into custody,
Conditions of bail are that Walker have no contact with Jackson, the residence or anyone within it and she is not to leave Wisconsin without the court’s permission. Walker remains in the County Jail with her initial appearance scheduled for Monday afternoon at 2:30.
