Freezing drizzle that hit eastern and northeastern Wisconsin last evening resulted in some treacherous street & highway conditions, locally. Deputy Inspector Jason Orth from the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office tells Seehafer News this morning that his agency handled four property damage crashes after roadways iced-up. Orth explains that none of the crashes involved any injuries. City streets in Manitowoc were also icy late last night and one major thoroughfare, the 21st Street viaduct, was blocked to traffic for a short time due to very slippery conditions.
