According to the Bureau of Economic Analysis, Sheboygan County has the second fastest growing Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Wisconsin. While the state as a whole only grew by 1.3% over the past year, Sheboygan County grew by an astonishing 2.9%, only barely missing the top spot held by Eau Claire County who grew by 3%. While a single year of growth is not the best indicator of consistent growth, a five years of statistics show that Sheboygan County is definitely on the right track. Over that time, Sheboygan County has seen their GPD grow by an astonishing 13.5%, only being beaten out by the Madison area, which grew by 17.4%.
