A leaking water main on Manitowoc’s southside has necessitated a street closure today. According to Pete Dollhopf, Water Distribution Superintendent with Manitowoc Public Utilities South 24th Street is closed to through traffic between Clark & Franklin Streets, to accommodate repairs to the main. Dollhopf says the road closure is expected to last roughly 8 hours, beginning at 7:30am. And, he says residents of South 24th will still have access to their driveways by entering 24th from Clark Street.
