Legislative leaders say members of the Wisconsin Assembly and Senate will meet with Governor Tony Evers next Tuesday. Republican Assembly Speaker Robin Vos says he expects the joint caucus to start as a private gathering so there can be a “real conversation” about priorities with the Democratic governor. The meeting was proposed after Assembly Republicans sent a letter to Evers listing areas where they thought they could work with him.
