Pink Heals Manitowoc County is hosting a cancer support group on January 15 at 6:30 pm at Holy Family Memorial in the Manitowoc Room. The group is available to women and men battling any type of cancer, no matter where they are receiving treatment, as well as survivors and caregivers. The Pink Heals cancer support group meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month and the location alternates between Holy Family Memorial and Aurora.
Pink Heals Manitowoc County partners with public safety and local businesses to provide communities with a program that supports people in need on a personal level.
The group is led by a facilitator with support from doctors, nurses, social workers and other cancer professionals in the area followed by an open discussion. The speaker for the January 15th support group will be Angel Avina from Custom Health Pharmacy Inc. Avina will be discussing natural options when battling cancer.
