A 17 year old Sheboygan resident is dead after a high speed chase ended with the vehicle he was a passenger in overturned while failing to negotiate a curve early this morning. A Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Deputy was attempting to pull over a vehicle on County Highway LS near County Highway X in the Township of Centerville at around 1:15 AM, when the driver took off. The 15 year old female driver lost control of the vehicle, causing the vehicle to enter the ditch. The 17 year old was ejected from the vehicle, and died at the scene. The driver and a 14 year old female passenger, both also from Sheboygan had to be rescued from the vehicle via the Jaws of Life. The two surviving teens were transported to St. Nicholas Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.The names of the individuals involved are not being released at this time.
