The Wisconsin Court of Appeals District Three has granted the request for more time from the attorney for convicted killer George Burch. Burch was found guilty of first-degree intentional homicide in the murder of Nicole VanderHeyden of Ledgeview. His attorney now has until March 4th to file a post-conviction motion. He was given a life sentence without the possibility of parole. Burch still maintains his innocence.
