The driver of a Cross Plains snow plow suffered minor injuries Monday evening when his equipment slid on an icy, slick road. The driver’s name hasn’t been released. The Dane County Sheriff’s Office reports the snow plow truck had been clearing the surface and salting slippery roads when it overturned and came to rest on its roof. The driver had to be extricated. Cranes were used to clear the truck off the road after traffic had been blocked for about three hours.
