The last day of 2018 is bringing snowfall to eastern Wisconsin. Anywhere from 3 to 5 inches is in the forecast between this afternoon and about 3am New Year’s day. During a recent conversation with Manitowoc County Highway Commissioner, Marc Holsen, he told Seehafer News ‘they split the snow removal load into 3-shifts.
Holsen also spoke about the importance of new technology and ‘road sensors’ to aid them in treating snow or ice covered highways.
Marc Holsen has served as County Highway Commissioner for just over 3 years now.
