Manitowoc Police were looking for a 48 year old city man over the weekend for deliberately crashing his vehicle into a house & some vehicles. Lt. Mark Schroeder said yesterday that police & fire department personnel were dispatched to the 500 block of S. 25th Street just before 12:30 Saturday afternoon. Schroeder explained that the suspect, identified as David D. Koeller had driven his vehicle at a high rate of speed on Liberty Place, intentionally crashing into two parked vehicles at the victim’s home, causing extensive damage. The police official said the suspect then proceeded to strike the residence, resulting in major damage to the foundation. The suspect fled the scene on foot and was still being sought at last report. Authorities say if anyone has information on the location of Koeller they should contact the Manitowoc Police Department Shift Commander at 686-6551, or Manitowoc County Crimestoppers 683-4466.
