Brown County taxpayers will have to pay an additional three-point-six-million dollars after admitting their engineers made a mistake. The county announced last summer it would chip in more than five-million dollars for a retention pond and pipe at the Green Bay Package plant to keep the business from moving. The company is investing more than a half-billion dollars in the construction of a new paper mill. The additional cost was discovered when original plans for a stormwater management system had to be changed. The new construction will add 200 jobs to the 11-hundred people already working at the plant.
