Update on Attempted Robbery at Berserkers in Two Rivers

A 39-year-old Manitowoc man accused of attempting to rob a Two Rivers tavern last Friday appeared for a bail hearing this afternoon. Darrell W. Patterson is charged with possession of marijuana and theft. Police responded to Berserkers Tavern for a report of a suspect stealing a large amount of money while a bartender was being distracted inside. All the money was accounted for and returned to the tavern and Patterson was taken into custody without incident. He remains in the County Jail in lieu of $500 cash with conditions upon release that he maintain absolute sobriety from drugs and alcohol. An initial appearance is scheduled for December 26^th  at 2:30.
