25-Year-Old Two Rivers Man Killed In Fatal Collision

Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Deputy Inspector Jason Orth tells Seehafer News that at approximately 5:40 pm on Sunday a Sheriff’s Deputy attempted to initiate a traffic stop on State Highway 147 in Mishicot for multiple violations. The operator, a 48-year-old Two Rivers man, fled southbound on 147 at speeds of approximately 100 miles-per-hour when he collided with a pick-up truck driven by a 25-year-old Two Rivers man at the intersection of Highway 147 and Crystal Springs Road in the Township of Two Rivers. The victim died at the scene while the 48-year-old male was transported by ambulance to Aurora Bay Care in Green Bay with “serious injuries.” Names of those involved are not being released at this time. Multiple law enforcement and emergency departments assisted the Sheriff’s Department on the scene.
