Lombardi Middle and Red Smith Elementary schools in Green Bay were both placed on lockdown at around 9:30 AM yesterday. This was done as a precautionary measure to keep their students safe from a situation that was taking place outside, which has since been described as a “domestic situation”. The lockdown did not affect the students or classwork, as it was just done to keep anyone from coming in. The lockdown was lifted at around 10:15 AM, with dismissal proceeding as normal.
