A spokesperson for Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker says the controversial bills passed during last week’s lame-duck session haven’t been delivered yet. The governor has the power to call for those bills when he wants to do so. They are set up to limit the powers of the incoming Democratic governor and attorney general. If the governor hasn’t requested delivery by December 20th, they will automatically be forwarded on that date by the chief clerk of the state Senate. Then, he will have six days to sign or veto the package.
