It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Especially this weekend on the Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra Holiday Tour of Homes. The event will take place on Saturday December 1st from 9:00am until 3:00pm. Seven homes (located throughout Manitowoc and Two Rivers) will be beautifully decorated for the holidays for guests to tour and enjoy. Each home in the Tour has an assigned decorator from a participating area business, and this year the local designers are from Two Buds Floral and Gift, The Flower Gallery, The Wild Iris, Acute Angle gift shop and Roorbach’s. Tickets for the event cost $20 in advance and are available at The Flower Gallery, Two Buds Floral and Gift, The Wild Iris, Roorbach Flowers, Ansay and Associates, Capitol Civic Centre box office, Acute Angle and Schroeder’s Department Store. Online tickets may be purchased with an additional $2 processing fee per ticket. Additionally, tickets may be purchased the day of the event for $25 at any of the tour stops. The MSO is still looking for volunteers for the event. Duties include welcoming guests and sharing facts about the home (scripts are provided). Volunteers are asked to sign up for a 2 hour shift and will receive a discounted ticket price of $15. To find more information on the tour, sign up to volunteer, or view the listing of homes and businesses on the tour visit manitowocsymphony.org. Spend a day with friends, share some holiday spirit, and know that you are helping the Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra continue to provide classical and pop music to the Lakeshore.
