The Village of Mishicot and Town of Sheboygan are among eight municipalities to be granted a portion of nearly $4 million Board of Commissioners of Public Lands money. Mishicot will receive roughly $37,500 to be used to finance asbestos abatement and demolition while Sheboygan will get $1.5 million for roadwork, equipment, and town hall repairs. The BCPL operates entirely on program revenue, without taxpayer money and distributes more than 96 cents of every dollar of interest earned on BCPL State Trust Fund investments to Wisconsin’s public schools.
