Aaron Jones and Davante Adams scored two touchdowns each as the Green Bay Packers ended a two-game losing streak at home Sunday. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers led the balanced attack in a 31-12 victory at Lambeau Field. Rodgers connected on 19-of-28 passes for 199 yards and the two scores to Adams. Six different Packers sacked Miami quarterback Brock Osweiler and Bashaud Breeland came up with an important interception. Breeland was one of five Packers knocked out of the action by injuries. Coach Mike McCarthy called it a much needed win.
Jones rushed for 145 yards on 15 carries, which Rodgers says has a profound effect.
Rodgers says that despite his consistency, Devante Adams doesn’t get thy same hype as players like Julio Jones.
Green Bay has only a short rest with a game at Seattle Thursday night.
