Two Rivers City Manager Greg Buckley had some reaction today about the outcome of the Wisconsin Governor’s race with Democrat Tony Evers narrowly defeating incumbent Scott Walker. During an appearance on WOMT’s Be-My-Guest, Buckley says Walker was “up-front all along that this would be a tough race.” The city manager added one possible drawback for a 3rd term for the sitting Governor was the so-called “Walker fatigue issue.”
When asked if Governor-elect Evers would be more ‘municipality friendly’, Buckley commented.
He says that infrastructure funding issue “has been frustrating for a lot of people, not only locally but statewide.”
