The Milwaukee women’s basketball team defeated Wisconsin-Parkside, 84-69, at the Klotsche Center last night in the Panthers’ only exhibition game of the year. Former Manitowoc Lincoln athlete Alyssa Fischer, started the game at guard and played 17-minutes, finishing with 2-points, 2-steals and an assist. All 13-players scored for Milwaukee coach Kyle Rechlicz with 4 of them in double figures. The Panthers now gear-up for the regular season opener next Wednesday, in a rematch of last year’s WNIT 2nd round matchup against Indiana at Assembly Hall.
