Tests conducted on more than 50 private wells near the former Badger Army Ammunitions Plant found no D-N-T contamination. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources still must validate those test results. The information was shared at a public meeting hosted by the Army last week. One well in the Water’s Edge subdivision had consistently tested positive for D-N-T but showed no signs of the contamination this time. The Army will conduct more tests of residential wells between October and July 2019.
