Middleton Shooter Identified

The Dane County Medical Examiner has identified the man who shot four co-workers at a Middleton software company as 43-year-old Anthony Y. Tong.  Thursday’s autopsy showed Tong died from gunshot wounds.  Crime scene investigators have searched a home on Madison’s west side which Tong bought just two months ago.  He had worked at W-T-S Paradigm since April 2017.  Investigators say he came to work as usual Tuesday morning and for reasons not determined yet he opened fire at about 10:20 A-M.
