Home Invader Given 60-Year Prison Sentence

A Kenosha County Circuit Court judge has given a convicted home invader 60 years in prison for a violent attack on an elderly couple last year.  Fifty-two-year-old Daniel Evans broke into the couple’s home and left both of them with head injuries so serious they had to be airlifted to a hospital.  Deputies tracked the couple’s cell phones, then used surveillance video to identify Evans.  He was caught after a high-speed chase with a six-month-old infant in his car.  Kenosha County Sheriff David Beth says Evans should never get out of jail.
