Woman Arrested After Attempting to Rob Pizza Chain in Howard

A 46 year old woman is behind bars after she attempted to rob a Marco’s Pizza store in Howard on Sunday. Jodi Christophersen entered the pizza chain after hours, where she found a man who was closing up for the night and his wife. Christophersen put her finger into the woman’s back, pretending it was a weapon, demanding money. The woman, who is trained in self-defense and disarming an individual sprang into action and used her training to subdue the woman while her husband called the police. Christophersen appeared in court yesterday and was held on a $20,000 cash bond. Her initial appearance is scheduled for Friday September 28^th.
