A 24 year old Florida man was arrested in Manitowoc on Saturday, after he refused to leave his ex-girlfriend’s home. Police were called to a home in the 400 block of St. Clair Street at around 2:30 AM with the caller claiming her ex-boyfriend had entered her home in possession of three pill bottles, took her keys and refused to leave. Police attempted to peacefully negotiate with the man, but he was confrontational, and continued to escalate the situation. After being shot with a Taser twice, the man was arrested. He is being charged with Resisting, Disorderly Conduct, and Possession of a Schedule 2 Drug, a Non-Scheduled Drug, and Other Scheduled drug.
