The School District of Mishicot has teamed up with Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin to provide students an opportunity to receive school based counseling services. Counseling is an excellent way to learn new skills, develop self-confidence, become more aware of others’ views and experiences, practice new behaviors, and better understand how to deal with the problems life presents. The District and Family Services recently entered into an agreement where services will begin starting in October. Family Services is a certified mental health clinic and will make outpatient services available to students at school rather than having to go to their clinic. The services are available to all middle and high school students.
