Illinois Man Puts On Hard Hat To Steal Wallets From Construction Workers

Eau Claire County prosecutors accuse an Illinois man of disguising himself to look like a construction worker before he stole wallets at an Eau Claire work site.  Charges were filed against Donald Roche Wednesday.  Investigators say he swiped a wallet at an H-S-H-S Sacred Heart construction site last month, taking 25-hundred dollars from the victim’s bank account.  Roche was spotted on video surveillance.  He faces similar charges in Dane and Sheboygan counties.
