Sgt. Andrew Trilling of the Manitowoc Police Department says the two victims that were part of a death investigation over the weekend have been identified as 51-year-old Richard Miller and his 19- year-old daughter, Jocelyn Miller.
Authorities responded to 3709 Dale Street at about 10:30 Sunday morning for the report of two deceased individuals.
Both died of gunshot wounds.
Trilling adds that it’s come to the department’s attention that numerous versions of what occurred at the scene are being talked about on social media and that they are investigating this crime as a double homicide. The investigation is on-going.
The MPD is emphasizing that their is no reason to believe the general public is in any danger.
