U.S. Postal Service Being Evicted From Downtown Milwaukee Building

The landlord is alleging the U-S Postal Service has failed to keep the Milwaukee building it occupies in acceptable condition – so it has to go.  Chicago-based investor and developer Matt Garrison has filed an eviction notice.  Garrison’s R-2 Companies bought the building three years ago for just over 13-million dollars.  He is kicking the post office out so he can renovate the one-point-one-million square-foot building for new tenants.  The four-story structure is located at 341 West St. Paul Avenue in downtown Milwaukee.
