A Manitowoc woman is behind bars after she attacked a woman while she was in her home. Police were called by the victim’s father last Wednesday at around 5:15 PM in the 2400 block of Washington Street. The police spoke with the victim, who had visible injuries, and she was able to positively identify her attacker. According to the victim’s statement, the 34 year old woman entered her home with another man to confront her. The woman accused her of attempting to sleep with her boyfriend, and threw a metal box at her. The victim also was pinned by the woman, before the man and the victim’s father pulled her off. The woman fled the scene, and was located on Monday by police. She is now facing one charge of battery and two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping.
