Governor Scott Walker has ordered flags be lowered to half-mast in honor of Senator John McCain, who passed away over the weekend. McCain joined the world of politics after serving as a naval bomber pilot, and being a prisoner of war. Governor Walker commented on Senator McCain’s death, saying “John McCain was an American hero who selflessly served his country, his courage is immeasurable and is something I will always admire. Our country is indebted to him for his decades of service. Please join Tonette and I as we pray for him and his family.”
