A high school defenseman from Cottage Grove, Minnesota, has given the Wisconsin Badgers a non-binding oral commitment to play for them. Fifteen-year-old Joe Palodichuk becomes the third recruit of that age to commit. He took part in the 2018 U-S-A Hockey Boys Select 15 Player Development Camp last month. Playing with the Great Plains Hockey Bantam Major team last year he scored twice and had a dozen assists in 24 games. Palodichuk, Corson Ceuelemans, and Caden Brown will be able to play for the University of Wisconsin in the 2021-2022 season.
