The opioid crisis continues to be a major talking point thought the entire country, but the Wisconsin Department of Health Services is trying to bring the fight to the front lines. DHS has applied for an $11.8 million grant from the $1 billion State Opioid Response grant program. DHS Director of Opioid Initiatives Paul Krupski stated “This funding will boost our ongoing efforts to provide hope, health, and healing to those who need it the most… We look forward to working with our state, tribal, and local partners to meet the needs of those struggling with opioid addiction. “
