A concerned citizen in Outagamie County contacted authorities last Friday to report seeing something suspicious near her farm. Sheriff’s deputies say the complaint stated concern that she believed that Sterling Rachwal, a convicted horse molester, had been driving near her farm looking at her horses. Rachwal has been arrested several times for molesting horses and was sentenced earlier this year to probation for misdemeanor animal mistreatment charges in Manitowoc and Brown counties. Authorities say it wasn’t Rachwal as he is monitored by a GPS bracelet and in their words “is closely monitored by his supervising agent.” The Outagamie County Sheriff’s office says they checked with Probation and Parole and confirmed that he wasn’t in Outagamie County looking at horses last Friday. Authorities do emphasize that if you see anything suspicious please contact local law enforcement.
