An unlikely alliance between a former Marshfield strip club and a church results in a land deal which could benefit the community. North Ridge Church has bought the land where the Rear End tavern and strip club did its business. Women from the church started visiting the dancers at the strip club six years ago, bringing homemade desserts and just talking. The former club owner has said it was natural to sell the location to the church when the club closed in April. There are no specific plans yet. The church could create a neighborhood park there.
