Madison police say an assault suspect’s efforts to deny the accusations against him were ended by surveillance video. Witnesses say the 43-year-old man grabbed the backside of a worker at Capitol Center Market Saturday night, then threatened to kill other workers in that store. When police took Johnnie J. Pigram into custody, he reportedly threatened to kill them too. The officers say he was intoxicated. Pigram was taken to the Dane County Jail and he is charged with sexual assault, disorderly conduct, trespassing and making threats against the officers.
