Richland County Man Dies In Tractor Rollover Wreck

Authorities say a Richland County man was killed Wednesday night in a tractor rollover wreck. The Richland County Sheriff’s Office says it received a 9-1-1 call at around 9:46 P-M Wednesday reporting a tractor rollover on Country Road O in the town of Orion. A man operating the tractor was pinned under the tractor. Investigators say Charles Ray of Orion was driving a small tractor down a hill on a path when the tractor went off the path on the right and traveled down a deep ravine. The front of the tractor struck the ground and flipped over. Ray died at the scene. The incident remains under investigation.
