31-Year-Old Madison Man Arrested For Burning 2nd Man With Chemicals

A Madison Police SWAT team took a 31-year-old man into custody Tuesday for allegedly using chemicals to burn a victim.  Matthew R. DeJesus is being held in the Dane County Jail.  DeJesus is accused of pouring chemicals on the second man as they were arguing early Friday morning.  The 32-year-old victim’s name hasn’t been released.  He was taken to a hospital for treatment of serious burn injuries.  DeJesus was also burned during the attack.
