Almost 100 Jury Candidates Dismissed From Murder Trial

Almost 100 candidates to serve on a Rusk County jury for a murder trial have been dismissed.  They all either knew somebody connected to the case or they said they have already decided whether Doug Nitek is guilty or not.  There are still about 140 people left in the jury pool.  Nitek is charged with shooting Rusk County Deputy Dan Glaze to death in October 2016.  The jury is being picked in Rusk County, but the September trial might be moved to St. Croix County — the nearest location where security and the physical setting would be best for a trial like the one involving Nitek
